Sun launched the JavaFX Preview SDK, a preview version of the JavaFX platform. At the JavaOne Conference in May 2008, Sun unveiled exciting JavaFX technology demonstrations and committed to delivering an SDK in July. We're very excited to have met this commitment with a compelling initial offering that will allow web scripters, designers and Java developers to become familiar with the JavaFX technology platform, JavaFX scripting language, and the advanced JavaFX plugins available with the NetBeans 6.1 IDE. JavaFX is the rich client platform for creating RIAs with immersive media and content across all the screens of your life (PC, mobile, TV and other consumer devices).
